At ZeroCostAI, his mission is simple: audit every tool's true free limits, expose predatory dark patterns and checkout paywalls, and help developers, students, and bootstrapped creators build zero-cost AI stacks without credit card traps.
⚖️ Nathan's Testing & Verification Methodology
Every tool reviewed under Nathan's byline undergoes a strict 4-step verification protocol:
- Zero-Cost Sandbox Test: We register with standard burner accounts without entering credit card credentials to verify if "free" actually means free.
- Export Fidelity Check: We test whether downloaded outputs contain forced branding, low-resolution downgrades, or hidden lockouts.
- Daily Quota Stress Test: We run batch requests until hitting rate limits to record genuine daily allowances rather than promotional claims.
- Strict Editorial Independence: ZeroCostAI never accepts paid sponsorships, affiliate kickbacks, or preferential rankings to alter benchmark scores.
